2nd annual Southern Shindig a huge success!

On Thursday night, Sunbelt Technology participated in the Southern Shindig as a corporate sponsor.  The event was a huge success, raising money for Skyland Trail, a foundation that serves adults with mental illness through innovative and individualized treatment that improves mental, physical and social well being.  The host committee included long time Skyland Trail supporter, Robby Wynne, along with Street Nalley, Wes Bradshaw, Katherine Love, and Hunter Amos.  The entertainment was hosted by The Yacht Rock Revue and the food was sponsored by Fox Brothers Barbecue.

Weekend and Evening Position for Vivacious Personality

Football season is in full swing and everyone here at Sunbelt is getting ready for our football viewing parties.

All we need is a vivacious personality to help host the events. Our ideal person would be fun, outgoing, responsible and available on Saturdays from noon to 6:30. Compensation would be hourly plus commissions on clients booked that day. This position would also have the option of adding weekday evenings from 3-6 (hours flexible).

Forward this info to that person that just popped in your head who you know is perfect for this fun and exciting opportunity.

Home Run Derby- The Cano Family

The Home Run Derby was broadcast in 3D last night and it was an amazing event!  In case you missed it, it, the players can choose who they want to pitch to them.  Robinson Cano had his father, Jose, as his pitcher.  Just like throwing in the back yard when he was a child, Canoe was completely relaxed, taking his time, listening to the crowd, and smacking over 40 Home Runs out of the park in 3 rounds.  He broke the record for the most Home Runs ever in a Derby and just to cherish the moment a little more, took a break once he had tied Adrian Gonzales, and went up and hugged his Dad and told him he loved him.  His Dad told him, just one more to go.  He then went on to have a Gatorade with his teammates.  Once back behind the plate, he took one swing and knew it was gone.  His Father threw all the baseballs he was holding up in the air, knowing he and his son had won.  Whether you watched it in 3D or not, it was an awesome event.   Obviously, it makes you think of the father/son relationship and how proud they must be of each other but also the joy of sports and the moments we watch that we'll cherish for a long time.  On Sunday, we saw the US women's soccer team in another one of those moments, twelve years from the day Brandy Chastain made that famous penalty kick to beat China in the World Cup finals.  If you are looking for that new TV or surround sound system to get into the game, we'll help you make it happen.   If you're looking for a lunch spot tomorrow, come over to Chastain Square.  You can choose from Tacos and Tequilas, Stix and Steaks, or the Wing Factory.  Stop by our showroom and check out the US women take on France at 11:30.
